Friday-Saturday  The British-born percussion sensation, Stomp, has made its way across the pond and will be performing at the Providence Performing Arts Center this weekend. The 8-person ensemble uses some unconventional materials to keep their audience entertained, including garbage cans, hubcaps and zippo lighters. $30-$52. Chorus of Westerly’s Requiem, Westerly

Sunday  The George Kent Performance Hall in Westerly will be hosting the Chorus of Westerly for their performance of Mozart’s Requiem. Come check out what is sure to be a brilliant rendition of what is perhaps Mozart’s greatest work. George Kent Performance Hall, 119 High St. Shows at 4 and 6 pm on Sunday. Bike to Work Day, Newport & Providence

Friday  Newport and Providence are yet again hosting festivities for Bike to Work Day and giving you the chance to ditch your gas guzzler for the day. Head over to Burnside Park in Providence to grab a complimentary breakfast before riding to work on two wheels instead of four. Give Me Five: Youth Film Festival, Providence

Saturday  Check out the fourth annual “Give Me Five” youth film showcase at the Columbus Theatre in Providence. Young Rhode Islanders will show their own five-minute films from three categories: live action, animation and news programs. Shelito Vincent vs. Christina Ruiz at Twin River

Friday  Boxing returns to Twin River Casino in Lincoln this weekend, as the WIBA bantamweight title fight will take place at 7 pm.
