Track 15 is officially kicking off its first holiday season this weekend in Providence  - and there is a lot on tap.

This week, GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle was joined by Track 15’s Alison Mountford at the city’s new downtown dining and event destination as they got ready for the “big” Christmas Tree lighting - all 20 feet of it.

On Saturday, November 29 from 2 PM to 5 PM, Track 15 is hosting its “Holiday Tree Lighting and Markets” in its outdoor plaza.

“Enjoy a cozy afternoon with hot beverages, live carolers at 3:45 PM, and 15 local makers offering gifts and holiday treats,” says the food hall that features 7 individual food vendors, oversized TV screens, a main bar - and plenty of seating.

“At 4:45pm, our 20-foot Christmas tree will light up the plaza for the first time,” they continue. “Afterward, head inside for dinner, drinks, and more live music to keep the celebration going. All are invited so bring your friends and family!”

Track 15 adds that parking in the adjacent garage and lot is available and there will be an event rate for the evening.

Hot Cocoa for a Cause

All season long, Track 15 is serving up cozy holiday sips - including its brand-new Bougie Boozy Hot Chocolate made with house-made cocoa, a splash of Chartreuse, whipped cream, and gold flecks.

Each cup will feature none other than Enzo Marsella, Track 15’s “Chief Barketing Officer & Senior Pawject Manager” - and of course, there is a non-alcoholic version for adults and kids alike.

And it’s for a sweet "paws cause” - a portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Providence Animal Rescue League.
