Beacon Charter Senior Keaton Bergeron to Play Carnegie Hall on Friday

Beacon Charter School senior Keaton Bergeron, as part of the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Symphony, will play Carnegie Hall on Friday. 

The concert will take place on Friday, June 23 as part of the 2017 Viennese Masters Invitational. 

The event includes five orchestras from around the country in a performance of the works of Viennese composers. The evening features music by Mozart, Strauss II, Bernstein, Shostakovich, and Rachmaninoff.

The group from Rhode Island will be joined by the Syracuse Youth Orchestra, the Southern California Youth Philharmonic, the Symphonic Youth Orchestra of Greater Indianapolis, and the Columbus, MS Suzuki String Advanced Ensemble.

Keaton Bergeron 

Bergeron is a culinary arts student at Beacon and has been playing flute in the Symphony for two years. 

She has been in the Rhode Island Philharmonic Wind Ensemble for four years.
