Bert Gallery at Corliss Landing Announces Holiday Exhibit

The Bert Gallery at Corliss Landing has announced its holiday exhibit titled “The Gift of Art.”

“The Holiday catalogues are already out with an array of consumer goods to satisfy any gift giver.  In the midst of this retail competition, Bert Gallery suggests you give a “The Gift of Art”, a simple personal gift of a painting, etching, photograph or sculpture that is not mass-produced but unique, a creative visual treasure,” writes the Bert Gallery in their press release.

The exhibit will run from December 4 through December 21, 2019.

The Exhibit

The exhibit will feature works by artists of The Providence School dating back to the early 1850’s, a significant collection of antique paintings under $500 and portfolio packets of 5 – 10 unframed works for under $100.

Window one of the exhibit will feature Attic Sale promotions. The displays will be changed weekly or as items sell.

The second window will feature Carmel Vitullo black and white photographs of Federal Hill, Newport Jazz Festival, Oakland Beach and Italy.
