Community joins together to support Hasbro Children's Hospital
Led by Dunkin' Donut franchise owners in southern New England, free ice coffee day in May turned out to be just what the doctor ordered for kids in the region. The support of the combined effort generated a one day total for Hasbro's Children's Hospital of $181,894. The community based fundraiser led by the local franchisees, a plethora of local media groups who promoted the fundraising initiative including Citadel Broadcasting and GoLocalProv.com.
The fundraiser was fueled by free and discounted ice coffees - all proceeds were donated.
