You can ring in the New Year as a family this year -- without keeping the kids up late -- at the Providence Children's Museum.

The Museum, located 100 South Street in Providence, will feature a pair of events, held at a time of day suitable for all ages:

New Year’s Noisemakers: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

New Year’s Parade and Ball Drop: 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM

Children’s Museum visitors get a head start on welcoming 2014. At 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, families join a procession through the Museum with their noisemakers, culminating in a ball drop to ring in the new year!

Activities are included with Museum admission of $9.00 per person; free for Museum members. For more information, visit www.ChildrenMuseum.org.
