New Year’s Parade and Ball Drop: 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM
Children’s Museum visitors get a head start on welcoming 2014. At 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, families join a procession through the Museum with their noisemakers, culminating in a ball drop to ring in the new year!

Last year The Dorrance rang in the New Year with 007 and this year they’re going Old Hollywood with a Wizard of Oz-themed bash. In honor of the groundbreaking film’s 75th anniversary, guests can look forward to ruby red cocktails, as well as performances by Miss Wensday & The Cotillions, The Chifferobe TropiGals, and a flying monkey or two, among other surprises!
