FirstWorks Set to Kick off 2015-16 Season With Cloud Eye Control
Cloud Eye ControlFirstWorks is set to kick off its 2015-16 season with a week long performance by Cloud Eye Control at the Columbus Theatre on November 21st. Tickets start at $10.
Cloud Eye Control will debut their show Half Life, a mix of projected animation, theater, and music examines the psychological fallout of global disaster.
"FirstWorks’ new Frontier Series allows audiences to discover the most exciting new artistic visions in the country. There could be no better beginning to the season than the eye-popping innovation and gorgeous animations of Cloud Eye Control,” said Kathleen Pletcher, Executive Artistic Director, FirstWorks.
This performance by Cloud Eye Control will also kick off FirstWorks' new cross-promotional partnership with the historic Columbus theatre.
Cloud Eye Control will show off their hybrid art of animation, experimental theatre, pop music and puppetry with FirstWorks' Arts Learning students at Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts and Central Falls High School.

FirstWorks was launched in 2004 and it's festivals and programs have attracted over 285,000 participants.
The FirstWorks Frontier Series will combine interactive media and live performances, featuring "Cloud Eye Control's Half Life" at 8 p.m. at the Columbus Theatre.
Head over to The Vets and check out the Lincoln Center Orchestera led by Pullitzer Prize winning composer Wynton Marsalis, featuring vocals by Denzal Sinclaire. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets range from $28-$100, including $3 restoration fee.
Rhode Island's own string quartet ensemble will take the stage to debut their new musical creation called " The World of Čiurlionis.” The shows will take place at 8 p.m. and 3 p.m. respectively.
Ticket prices and a venue have yet to be determined.

Rosanne Cash
Rosanne Cash, daughter of the legendary Johnny Cash, comes ot The Vets for a 6:30 p.m. show with a full band and multi media experience. Cash will play songs off her Grammy Award winning album The River & The Thread.
Tickets range from $28-$75, including a $3 restoration fee.
