Fit For Life: Do you have S . E . X . ?

The best and fastest way to achieve your fitness goals?  Add SEX to your routine. That’s right; SEX will make you stronger and leaner, and you will get there faster than any other program on the market today. That’s because SEX stands for this: S-trength; E-ndurance training; and e-Xcellent eating habits. These will allow you to reach your fitness and fat loss goals faster and more efficiently than any other gimmick or quick fix on the market today. You must incorporate these three elements into your routine in order to have long term health, fitness, and vitality. This is not a quick fix, but by adding SEX into your lifestyle you will create ever lasting results. That’s why the components of my programs at Providence Fit Body Bootcamp incorporate all three. You see, the key to fitness and health is to lose body fat, and build muscle. It’s a simple formula, but not easy to achieve. It requires a lot of hard work and consistency to be successful, and it won’t happen over night. Let me break it down for you in a little more detail.

S-trength training. The only way to build strength is to do resistance training. You need to overload the body by creating more resistance than in its natural state. This could be from lifting weights, using resistance bands, or creating it with your own body such as doing pushups or body weight squats. This method stimulates new muscle growth, therefore making you stronger. It also speeds up your metabolism. More muscle = faster metabolism, allowing your body to torch fat and calories faster and more efficiently, even at rest!

E-ndurance training. The best way to build endurance is by performing high intensity interval training, or HIIT training. This is also the most effective way to burn the most calories in the shortest amount of time. You accomplish hit training by doing short intense bursts of exercise, followed by brief periods of rest or active recovery movements. The reason this is so effective it that it ramps up your heart rate, and lowers it periodically thus causing your heart and lungs to expand and contract more rapidly, causing them to get stronger, and able to handle a higher uptake of oxygen, thus causing you to build endurance. Unlike steady state cardio like walking or jogging where your heart stays in the “target” zone, actually making your heart and lungs work at a lesser capacity, rather than making it stronger. Therefore if you want to build stamina and endurance you need to train accordingly, and if you want fat loss, pick up the intensity.

X-cellent eating habits. You have heard it all before…you can’t out exercise a bad diet, abs were made in the kitchen, etc.  BUT ITS ALL TRUE!! In order to achieve true health and fitness, your eating habits need to be excellent. This means that you need to eliminate all the processed garbage and man made foods from your diet. These types of foods will not only add pounds to your waistline, but this type of food will make you sick. Anything in a package that was manufactured by people in lab coats and safety glasses, are not fit for human consumption. Factory farmed meats, and processed foods assembled using GMO ingredients will cause all kinds of bloating, inflammation, and digestive disruption. This causes a domino effect, because when the digestive tract is inflamed, is causes hormonal imbalances, which makes it impossible for our bodies to utilize nutrients and function properly. When you stick to an organic diet and eat quality foods harvested in a sustainable manner, it allows your body to function better, and in turn you’ll feel better. When you feel better, you will have more energy, which will allow you to train harder, and the end result will be you looking better. Other important benefits are that your skin will look better, your joints won’t ache and your digestive tract will eliminate waste and toxins, making for a stronger immune system. Remember you are what you eat, and you are what the animal you are eating ate, so stay away from processed dead food, and eat things that are alive and healthy.

Remember, you want the best results?  You want them quicker?  Then that’s how you do it – just a little SEX, and you’ll be right in shape.  Yes, it does require a lot of hard work and consistency to be successful, and it won’t happen over night, but anything worth working towards isn’t usually easy and simple.  So, there’s your homework – get to it!
