If this much free stuff is cropping up along Narragansett Bay

This year's schedule of events spans from Goddard State Park in Warwick to Roger Wheeler and Scarborough State Beaches in Narragansett, from Brenton Point in Newport and Colt State Park in Bristol to Misquamicut State Beach in Westerly and Fort Wetherill State Park in Jamestown. There's free parking everywhere, plus RIPTA's beach lines are running for free. Want more incentive? How about concerts, free barbecues, nutrition demonstrations, activities for kids, rock climbing walls, kayaking, kite-flying demonstations, sand sculpting, bonfires, and lots of giveaways?
And, as promised, you can fish to your heart's content (in salt water!), without having to shell out for a license. Only Sunday!
It's the best Sunday of the summer... for a full schedule of all events, go here.
