International Oktoberfest Moves To The Providence Waterfront
RI Waterfront Events, also known as Newport Waterfront Events, has announced plans to host the event at India Point Park on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th.
The event was previously held at the Newport Yachting Center in Newport, before the sale of the property in September 2014.

Event Details
The event will take place from 12 - 8 PM on Saturday and 12 - 6 PM on Sunday.
The story of the origins of Oktoberfest that date back to 1810 and an Bavaria Stein Hoisting Competition will take place on Saturday.
This event is intended for those 21 years of age and older and will offer seasonal brews and German cuisine.
Tickets
Saturday: $20 advance/$25 day-of event
Sunday: $17 advance/ $20 day-of event
Weekender Pass: $30 advance / $40 day-of event
Prost Pass: $85 advance and day-of event, limited quantities. The Prost Pass grants all-day and night admission, open to Prost Private Lounge, a private beer bar, sample of four Oktoberfest brews, an official Oktoberfest mug, and a free bratwurst from the brat bar.
