Little Rhodie Bully Breed Club Hosting Pit Bull Plunge on New Year's Day
Participants will be plunging into the cold water to raise money in order to provide medical assistance, foster care, training and provisions for homeless dogs.
Plunge for Papi
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTThis year's mission is Plunge for Papi. Papi is a pit bull mix who has been at the Charlestown Animal Shelter for the last 600 days and counting.
Papi would do best in a home without cats, very young children and small dogs.
Anyone interested would have to go to the Charlestown Animal Shelter and fill out an application.
Upon adoption, the Breed Club will be offering a gif basket as well as anything else that Papi will need. Local Pet store Fetch RI will be donating items as well for Papi
