About the book, Stillwater River Publications writes:
“Opening with a retelling of Babe Ruth’s famous “called shot,” Russell then takes the reader on a fairy-tale-like journey from a central moment deep in baseball’s storied past through to the future of baseball, and proves that the magic of love, like the magic of baseball, will forever remain timeless.
And while Russell’s book reads like a novel, it is delivered within a screenplay, allowing Russell’s story, theme, and prose the most effective structure to shine through.”
