Napoleon
Brooklyn's Napoleon kicked things off with their excitingly rhythmic indie post-rock that sounded magnificent. With Wilson Keithline on organ, his brother Harrison on drums, Julien O'Neil on lead guitar, Cory Sterling on rhythm guitar and Julian Roosevelt on vocals and bass these guys rocked so hard on "Sarafan", "Primo", "Belvedere", "Moonlight Sonata Is One Big Blue Mama", "City Girls" "Mad", "Die" and "Curtains" that Julien broke a string on their guitar but was luckily still able to play after Kelly Riley from Atlantic Thrills gave him his. Napoleon has their debut album Success currently available for download on their bandcamp page, very unique and beautiful music that you have to give a listen.
Atlantic Thrills
The best pure no-holds barred garage rock band in Providence, Atlantic Thrills blew up the stage with electrified energy that took over your inhibitions. Josh Towers on drums, Dan Tanner on lead guitar, Kelly Riley on rhythm guitar and Eric Aguiar on bass with Eric, Kelly and Dan alternating on vocals nearly blew the roof off the joint with "Booze", "On My Mind", "White Blind Folk", "Drugs In It", "Shotgun", "Acid Rain" and "Hold Your Tongue" the audience was movin' and groovin' with everyone being put in a state of pandemonium. Atlantic Thrills are always a pleasure to see live, next time they play in Providence you better go and indulge on good old-fashioned rock & roll.
