Mystic Aquarium to Host Earth Day Party
Educators from Mystic Aquarium as well as the Youth Conservation Corps and volunteers will lead hands-on activities highlighting habitats and conservation issues affecting ecosystems locally and around the world, and most importantly, what can be done to help protect the planet.
The party will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 22 and April 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Party
On Saturday, the annual Party for the Planet activities include scavenger hunts, hands-on activities and games providing an educational experience aimed at teaching guests practical methods to reducing their personal impact on the environment.
Activities will also include the second installment of Mystic Aquarium’s Nature Play in the Green programming- Earth Day Boat Building.
From 10:00 a.m. to Noon, participants will build boats using items scavenged from the Sea School Green.
On Sunday, the public is invited to join Mystic Aquarium’s team at Bluff Point State Park in Groton for Party by the Coast from 10:00am-2:00pm for a beach clean-up and more.

Aquarium admission is $31 for adults and $21 for kids ages 3-13.

Across Southern New England
The Coastal Wine Trail is a nonprofit group of 14 wineries that are spread throughout Southeastern New England. A tasting ticket costs $99 and gets you into each winery.
Vineyards on the trail include Greenvale Vineyards, Saltwater Farm Vineyard, Running Brook Vineyards and Winery and Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery.
The heart of the trail is less than three hours from New York City and 90 minutes from Boston.

Block Island, RI

Tours run seven days a week and children under 12 are FREE. The tours take about an hour and 15 minutes.
