A man was arrested in Westerly — and found with a bat, crowbar, and lock picks — before he could break-into Taylor Swift’s estate, according to reports.

The Daily Mail is reporting that stalker David Page Liddle was arrested on Monday after police received a tip of someone behaving strangely at a boathouse near the singer's home — and after he traveled more than 1,200 miles to see her.

The Westerly Police did not respond to request for comment on Tuesday.

The Daily Mail reported:

He was sitting at a picnic bench in the boat yard and when police approached him, he got up and started walking away with the aluminium bat sticking out of his backpack.

When police searched him and his belongings, they found he also had 30 lock picks and a crowbar.

Upon questioning, he told police that he'd been to Nashville and Memphis, where Swift has other homes, in the day beforehand and that he was looking to 'catch up' with the singer.

Liddle was taken into custody, where he remains in lieu of $10,000 in bond money.
