You ready for some Pauly D? The first trailer of "The Pauly D Project," Rhode Island's favorite DJ's new MTV reality show, has been released by the network.

Following this week's episode of Jersey Shore, the network gave viewers a first look into the hometown life of Pauly D, who made his fame as a cast member of the popular reality series.

The trailer introduces Pauly's childhood friends: Biggie, Jerry and Ryan. All of them are taken along for the ride, as he travels, deejays, and makes public appearances.

"I wake up every morning and thank God that he's had these opportunities and he's brought me along," says a teary eyed Biggie.

Look for local sights in the trailer like Pauly's high school alma mater, as well as Vegas footage from a gig at the Palms Casino, while his best friend Ryan gets into a fist-fight and he and Pauly butt heads over it. And later, he inks his reported record deal with 50 Cent's G-Note Records.
