Newport's Redwood Library Launches New Admission Policy for 2016

The Redwood Library and Athenaeum will implement a simpler admission policy granting visitors access to all  of its public spaces and current exhibitions for a single fee of $10. Admission will remain free for Redwood members, as well as current students  with a school ID and guests under the age of 18. 

The new policy starts on January 2, 2016. 

Visitors will get access to all five of Redwood's public historic spaces and galleries including the original Harrison Room, the Roderick Terry Reading Room, the Rovensky Delivery Room, the Van Alen Gallery and newly opened Peirce Prince Gallery.

The current exhibitions are "50 Years of the Third & Elm Press" and "Judge Us by Our Hearts': Norman Prince and Lafayette Escadrille." 

The new ticket price includes a self guided tour brochure as well as the use of three laminated gallery cards, which provide details on the Library's significant collections of portraits and at the artists who painted them.
