Nine Cities Come to Providence to Study Education Model

The two-day training will include meetings with staff, partners and tours of the middle school AfterZones. Presentations will be made by Superintendent Tom Brady, Mayor Elect Angel Tavares, The Rhode Island Foundation's Neil Steinberg, the Wallace Foundation and many of the city and non-profit leaders who have contributed to making PASA and the AfterZone a national model. Attendees include assistant superintendents, executive directors, consultants, foundation members, and city government officials.
The following cities are sending delegations: New Orleans, LA, Nashville, TN, Charlotte, NC, Danville, NC, Omaha, NE, Buffalo, NY, Woonsocket, RI, Asheville, NC, Newport, RI.
