On Assignment: GoLocal's Kate Nagle at Kitten Yoga

Kate Nagle, GoLocal’s News Editor, has taken on mobsters, Senators, and criminals, but on Sunday, she had to take on kittens.

 

The event — Yoga with Kittens, was co-hosted by Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue and The Woods Yoga in Lincoln.

The event sold out, and 100% of proceeds went directly to Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue to help rescue and rehome kittens in need.

 

In total, more than $3,000 was raised for Scruffy Paws.

 

"It was therapeutic and ridiculously cute," said Nagle. "The kittens were much more fun than many I've had to interview."

 

 

 

 

“Stretch and relax in a gentle yoga session surrounded by playful, adoptable kittens. It's the purrfect way to unwind, boost those endorphins, and help socialize kittens by building their catfidence skills!” the organizations promised.
