Middletown's Paradise Farmhouse Named “Best Retreat House” by Yankee Magazine

The Paradise Farmhouse at the Norman Bird Sanctuary in Middletown has been recognized as a “Best Retreat House” by Yankee Magazine.

The newly renovated 18th-century Colonial-style farmhouse was once the home of Mabel Norman Cerio, founder of the Norman Bird Sanctuary.

The Farmhouse offers a space for corporate, educational or social retreats, with overnight accommodations for groups of up to 16 participants.

The 325-acre Norman Bird Sanctuary property overlooks rolling fields, the Rhode Island sound, and includes over 7 miles of hiking trails. Educational programs, guided hikes, and a private chef are also offered extras.
