PawSox to Host Miss RI Night on August 24

The Pawtucket Red Sox will host Miss Rhode Island night on August 24 at McCoy Stadium when they host the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Rail Riders at 7 p.m. Miss Rhode Island America 2015 Allie Curtis will throw out the first pitch.   

"The PawSox are a Rhode Island staple, so I am honored to throw the first pitch. It's something I have always wanted to do! Thank you to the PawSox for supporting the Miss Rhode Island Scholarship Organization,"  said Curtis, who will compete for the title of Miss America on September 13.

The Miss Rhode Island Scholarship Organization is selling PawSox ticket vouchers to help support Allie's journey to the Miss America Pageant in September.

Interested attendees can by a six ticket voucher for $30 and can be purchased online by clicking here. Ticket orders must be placed and payments must be made by August 21.

The vouchers will be available for pick up at McCoy Stadium's will call window on August 24.
