Prov Children's Museum to Hold 40th Anniversary Gala
The gala will begin with cocktails at L’Apogee at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner in the Grand Ballroom at 8:00 p.m. and dancing to the music of Wayz and Means at 9:00 p.m.
Cocktail attire is requested.

The Gala
This event will challenge museum supporters and community leaders to raise more than $100,000 in critical funding to support the Museum’s outreach efforts and programming.
Outreach efforts and programming includes the purchase of charitable memberships for low-income families, the rich learning and play opportunities for children in need at Head Start preschools and urban after-school and summer camp programs, the Museum’s AmeriCorps team and Museums for All, the free admission program for families receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
Event sponsorships and ticket packages are available and going quickly. Individual tickets are $150 and sponsorships start at $500 for two tickets. All proceeds benefit Providence Children’s Museum.

The Phantom Gourmet Food Festival is an event to look forward too and it will be held on September 22 from 12- 4 p.m. on two streets next to Fenway Park.
Tickets are $40 in advance and online and will go up to $50 at the event.
The ticket includes sampling 100 of Phantom's foods from hot dogs and pizza to pulled pork and more. Beer and wine will be served on the street.
The New England Patriots Return

The NFL returns and that means that the New England Patriots are back.
The Patriots have won two of the last four Super Bowls and are among the favorites to win another one this season.
The Patriots kick off their season on Sunday, September 9 at 1 p.m. against the Houston Texans.
