RIPTA Offers Free Trolley Rides to the Zoo

RIPTA has just announced a truly wild summer promotion: free trolley rides to the Roger Williams Park Zoo.  Beginning in May and running all the way through September, passengers will be able the ride the Route 6 Prairie/Zoo trolley for free on the first Saturday of every month.   

As if that wasn’t enough, Providence residents will also receive complimentary Zoo admission on promotional Saturdays as well—a special “thank you” to the local taxpayers who support the Zoo.   All others will be subject to standard rates, which are already pretty reasonable at $12 for adults, $8 for children (ages 3-12), and free for children under 3.  

The Roger Williams Zoo boasts an impressive roster of animals and attractions, making it an ideal daytrip for kids of all ages. Mark the following dates to be sure you take advantage of this special summer promotion: May 7th, June 4th, August 6th, September 3rd.
