Santa Mamba To Headline Jamestown Arts Center Fiesta

The Jamestown Arts Center (JAC) knows how to make a fundraiser into a true Fiesta--they bring in popular, Latin-funk-salsa collective, Santa Mamba.

On Saturday, November 3, Santa Mamba will headline the Center's annual Fall Fundraiser with a high-energy performance. Touted as having top notch musicianship mixed with infectious energy which leads audiences to their feet time and time again, Santa Mamba draws upon its band’s diverse backgrounds, creating a sound they call Latin Roots Rock.

“Each of us has brought what he’s learned from a life of loving and studying music," said Javier Parr, the group's leader. "Over time we have forged our own sound taking various Latin and American musical traditions and giving them new voice in a unique combination of styles and personalities, celebrating diversity and life.  We pride ourselves on our performance, and always try to create an experience for our audience.  We set big goals for ourselves; our chief ambition is to get the whole world dancing.”
