Second Annual PVD Lady Project Summer Guide Debut & Celebration June 18

Check out the second annual Summer Guide Celebration at t AQUA at the Marriott Downtown.
The PVD Lady Project, a non-profit women’s networking organization, has announced it will hold its second annual Summer Guide Celebration on Wednesday, June 18 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at AQUA at the Marriott Downtown.

The Summer Guide features gifts and services from local female entrepreneurs, and debuts exclusively online on June 18.

PVD 3x3

Attendees will enjoy appetizers and cash bar with drinks by AQUA, and leave with a bag of Summer Guide inspired goodies. The main event is the signature PVD 3x3, featuring three Lady Project members or supporters sharing their story in three minutes. Speakers include:

The Lady Project

The Lady Project was co-founded in 2011 by Sierra Barter, one of Providence Monthly’s “10 To Watch in 2014,” and Julie Sygiel of Dear Kate. The Lady Project is a collective of women who come together to connect, inspire and showcase women doing awesome things, through events, membership and community engagement. The first chapter, PVD Lady Project, launched in 2012 and has over 250 members in the RI area. The second chapter, HVN Lady Project launched in New Haven in October 2013; and BOS Lady Project kicked-off in Boston in January 2014. Lady Project events and memberships are open to females or female-identifying.
