Even though the Patriots couldn’t pull out the Super Bowl win, it didn’t stop some of them from partying like they were the victors. On Sunday night, team members attended a crazy post-game party on the field, where Rob Gronkowski and Matt Light were seen dancing shirtless, with music provided by LMFAO, Maroon 5, and Rhode Island’s most famous DJ Pauly D. Many of the players didn’t show up, like Tom Brady, Chad Ochocinco, Wes Welker, and Coach Bill Belichick, but others partied all night with the Kraft family and Steven Tyler. Good to see not everyone feeling so dejected after the bitter loss, and willing to celebrate the still-great football franchise…

Soon, members of the general public will be allowed to visit one of the most history-laden homes in America: the Kennedy family compound on Cape Cod. A vacation home of former Rhode Island congressman Patrick Kennedy (who recently put his own Portsmouth home on the market), the place where the family gathered after JFK’s assassination, and the site of many other momentous occasions for the Kennedy family has been donated to the Edward M. Kennedy institute. It will host seminars, lectures, and charitable programs, and eventually be open to tours from the public. Converting the Hyannis Port home into an educational facility was always a wish of Ted Kennedy, so the family is just doing their part to honor his memory…
Last week, Smithfield baker Ryan Cimorelli came close to a reality TV title, but came away with only third place. In the finale of TLC’s Next Great Baker, he lost out to New Jersey native Marissa Lopez for $100,000 and the chance to work with Cake Boss Buddy Valastro. However, he and his wife Deana are still grateful for the opportunity and are looking forward to making their bake shop The Bakery Boutique even better for us Rhode Islanders…
Hottie football player Zack Nichols from the most recent season of MTV’s The Real World was spotted last week at the Colosseum nightclub in downtown Providence. The athlete and physical therapist made some splashes on the San Diego-set show for his conservative viewpoints, but he didn’t seem so traditional while partying it up with the locals…

Newport residents can check out details here about the show, which is reportedly “a TV docu-series about the residents and summer visitors of Newport, RI.” The show will air on a major cable network, and they are looking for Newport locals, socialites with summer homes, and visitors in rental houses. Perhaps it will be the next Jersey Shore? Well, the current Newport residents certainly hope not…
