Trinity Rep to Debut Great Writers Series for 2014-2015 Season

Trinity Rep will present the Great Writers Series for the 2014-2015 season.

Great Writers Series

This new program will facilitate discussions on the literary canons of four of the playwrights featured in the upcoming year. The playwrights include Anton Chekhov (Ivanov), Neil Simon (Barefoot in the Park), Tennessee Williams (The Glass Menagerie), and Sarah Ruhl (Melancholy Play: a new chamber musical).

The season kick off on September 15 from 7-8:30 pm by focusing on Chekhov. Artistic director and translator Curt Columbus and Ivanov director Brian McEleney will lead a discussion. Selected scenes from Chekhov's work will be performed by Brown/Trinity MFA students.
