On Wednesday’s GoLocal LIVE, House Finance Chair, Marvin Abney will join GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle to talk about the latest budget updates at the General Assembly.

Dr. Richard Grace of Providence College is an expert on the British empire and the British monarch. He’ll talk about the latest developments with the Royal Family, including the recent engagement of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle.

Hanukkah begins at nightfall on December 12 this year. On Wednesday’s The Taste, host Rick Simone will help you prepare for Hanukkah celebrations. 

A leader in Rhode Island’s plant-based cuisine, Rob Yaffe, owner of vegetarian restaurants The Grange, Garden Grille and Wildflour, serves vegan and kosher dishes every day of the week. Yaffe joins LIVE to talk about the process of being a Kosher certified restaurant, and he’ll share Kosher foods that can be enjoyed throughout Hanukkah.

Rabbi Barry Dolinger began serving as Rabbi of Congregation Beth Sholom in Providence in 2011. He also serves as Vice President of the Board of Rabbis of Greater Rhode Island and is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America and International Rabbinic Fellowship.  He joins The Taste to talk about engaging in meaningful traditions for Hanukkah celebrations.

He’ll also talk about what Kosher food is and how businesses are certified to prepare it.

Eric Taylor, Director of Operations at Bottles Fine Wines, will talk about the selection of Kosher wines available at Bottles and explain how a wine becomes Kosher. He’ll give insight on special Kosher wines to enjoy with  Hanukkah celebrations.

Since 2003, Deb Blazer has provided creative Kosher catering through her company Accounting for Taste. She’ll explain how her business started and the some of the most popular foods for Hanukkah celebrations.
