Woody Allen Film in RI Begins Production

Production begins in Newport on Woody Allen's new movie.
Woody Allen is the writer and director of this film.
Allen's most famous movies include Annie Hall and Manhattan. Allen's recent films are Blue Jasmine and Midnight in Paris.
Blue Jasmine was nominated for Original Screenplay.
Filming will take place in Newport and throughout Rhode Island.
The film will utilize Rhode Island actors and production crew.
Emma Stone is the star of Allen's new film. She recently appeared in Spider-Man 2 with her boyfriend Andrew Garfield.
Stone made her film debut in Superbad.
"The film is also an opportunity for local talent and crew," said Steve Feinberg.
Filming will last until the end of the summer.
Joaquin Phoenix is the leading man starring opposite Emma Stone.
Phoenix received wide recognition for his portrayal of Johnny Cash in Walk the Line.
