Cox Communications' New Leader in RI Talks Charitable Giving, Tech Changes

“Rhode Island is such a great market, and it's unique for Cox because we serve the entire state, and so it really gives us the ability to connect with our customers in a way that we don't necessarily have in other locations, so that's really exciting,” said Brill.
“We've got our Cox mobile product, which we rolled out last year specifically for internet customers, and so we're super excited about that. You know it rolls over a 5G Network so it's a super reliable, super affordable plan starting at 15 bucks per gig and it's just another great way we can get Rhode Islanders connected,” said Brill.
Brill’s Return to Rhode Island
This is Brill’s second time in Rhode Island for Cox.
“There's a pride here amongst Rhode Islanders that feels unique, and I've really felt that sense of pride and community here in Rhode Island. It's really exciting to be a part of,” added Brill, who has also worked in Nevada and Ohio for Cox
Prior to this new role, Brill served as market leader for Cox’s Ohio Market, where he was an influential voice for local employees and customers. Brill is also deeply committed to community service and sustainability.
Community Support
While many corporate players have been acquired or merged in Rhode Island and decreased their community support, Cox has continued in philanthropic support.
“You know, we're a family-owned business for 127 years, and that commitment to our communities has always been …to be supportive of our communities, and that's one of the things I love about working here is our ability to stay connected and support the communities that we live and work and serve,” added Brill.
