Dare to Dream Ranch to Host “Laugh & Rock the Night Away” to Benefit Veterans & Families

Karen Dalton with the Dare to Dream Ranch in Foster appeared on GoLocal LIVE where she spoke to the upcoming “Laugh and Rock the Night Away” event to benefit veterans and their families on Friday, March 29.

The event, which will take place at the Elks Lodge in West Warwick from 7 to 11 PM, will feature comedy from veterans Christina Thomas and Thomas Stewart, and classic rock by the “Live Music Band.”

The mission of the Dare to Dream Ranch is to provide alternative therapy programs for U.S. Military veterans and their families struggling with emotional challenges such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression, Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). 

The ranch’s services, include, but are not limited to, utilizing equine therapy, yoga, horticulture therapy, nutritional cooking, woodworking, fly tying, and career coaching. 

“Our ultimate goal is to help our veterans become successful civilians who feel they serve a purpose after returning from their time spent on the battlefield,” said Dalton.
