LIVE: Director Whitney White on “Othello” at Trinity Rep

Brown/Trinity Rep MFA Program graduate, Whitney White, makes a return to Trinity Rep directing the upcoming production of “Othello," which opens on February 19.

In her directorial debut at Trinity, White plans to utilize the closeness and intensity of the actors in the company to bring out the power of this Shakespearean tragedy, which she feels holds relevance today.  

Trinity Rep will offer multiple opportunities for the community to enjoy this production with a Pay What You Can night on February 15, open caption performances, a Teen Talk Back, and even a Military Weekend, which gives Veterans and active service members discounted tickets and was inspired by the military themes in the play.
