LIVE: EcoRI's Faulkner on Offshore Drilling, Trump's Solar Tariff & an Invenergy Update

EcoRI Executive Editor Tim Faulker joined GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle to talk about the latest in President Donald Trump's plan to open more Unites States waters to offshore drilling -- as well as his announcement this week to place tariffs on solar.

Faulkner also spoke to the latest with the Burrillville power plant, in that the state Energy Facility Siting Board issued an order Wednesday afternoon canceling a hearing scheduled for January 30, as Invenergy dropped their federal lawsuit that challenged the costs of connecting the fossil fuel-burning facility to the regional electric grid -- which would have meant New England ratepayers would be forced to pay millions of dollars for the project.
