Morgan to Propose Budget Amendments to Eliminate Truck Tolls -- and Prevailing Wage

Rhode Island House Minority Leader and GOP gubernatorial candidate Patricia Morgan joined GoLocal News Editor Kate Nagle on GoLocal LIVE ahead of the consideration of the Fiscal Year 2019 budget on Friday.

Giving the budget that came out of House Finance a "failing grade," Morgan said she plans on introducing floor amendments on Friday to eliminate truck tolls, as well as prevailing wage -- which she says would be a more cost-effective way of approaching the proposed $250 million school construction bond.
