Samson Talks About Shaidzon Beer's Third Anniversary Weekend

Chip Samson with Shaidzon Beer spoke to how the company is addressing the coronavirus pandemic, as it celebrates its three year anniversary this year. 

"Three years — a lot has changed, a lot has grown, a lot has adapted," said Samson. "We’ve expanded to over 75 beers that we’ve done since we started in November 2017. We’ve expanded the range and different styles of beer — different changes in minor ways and in big ways — it’s all an effort to improve what we’re putting out."

The beer company is celebrating its third anniversary this weekend at its West Kingston location. 

Going Outside

"Onsite, we’ve built out our space quite a bit here. We started out with a 500 square foot tasting room but we’re most proud of how we’ve grown outside — we opened our Shaidzon beer garden last summer," said Samson. "And what a great idea that turned out to be with everything playing out this year."

"We expanded that to about three times as big this year — we made sure we stayed in accordance with each of the state’s phases plus our own extra cautious measures that we’ve used," he added. "We’re proud and thankful of the work."
