The Ripple Effect: Prov. Fire Captain Palumbo on Dealing With Impact of Impaired Driving on LIVE

Providence Fire Captain David Palumbo joined GoLocal LIVE to talk about the impact of impaired driving, as part of the RI DOT'S Ripple Effect campaign. 

"I was honored that they asked me to do it. My best friend was killed by a DD and I definitely wanted to help this," said Palumbo. "After going calls for 27 years, we really have to stop this."

"This effect every one of us who responds to these scenes...this stays with you for a long time," said Palumbo. "When you're with your family and you see people drinking, it's in the back of your mind."
