195 Traffic Backs Up to State Line Monday Morning — RIDOT Bridge Failure

Westbound traffic on I-195 in Rhode Island is back up to the Massachusetts state line as of 7 AM on Monday morning.

Monday marks a full week after the Rhode Island Department of Transportation closed the westbound lanes on the Washington Bridge, causing significant economic impact to businesses in the state. READ COVERAGE BELOW

There are now two lanes in each direction on Washington Bridge, which opened on Friday.
