AG Lynch Aims to Protect RI from Oil Spill Impact

“We are aggressively pursuing any and all means of protection for Rhode Island, our residents and our businesses from any attacks on our Ocean State related to the tragic events now unfolding in the Gulf states and Florida as a result of the worst oil spill ever to occur,” Lynch said.
“The environment, residents and businesses of these states are all suffering, and we have to be prepared for any impacts on Rhode Island,” he added. “This is but the initial step.”

The other 10 states were: Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
