About Incident

Police responded to a report of a robbery at Walgreens on 533 Elmwood Avenue shortly midnight on Saturday.

Police spoke with a male cashier, who told him a masked male approached the register, brandished a firearm, and demanded money.

The suspect then reportedly went to a second register where a female cashier was working and took all the money out of that register.

He then fled the store on foot.

Detectives are currently investigating.
