Barrington Police Sergeant Dies Following 5-Week Battle With COVID, Announces Department

The Barrington Police Department announced that a Sergeant has passed away following a five-week battle with coronavirus. 

On Sunday, Barrington Police released a statement at the passing of Sergeant Gino Caputo

Chief Michael E. Correia and the members of the Barrington Police Department announce with heavy hearts the death of Sergeant Gino Caputo after a 5 week battle against COVID-19. 

Sergeant Caputo, who was a 27 year veteran of the Department, died yesterday morning surrounded by his wife Cindy and Family members.

Funeral arrangements are forthcoming.
