BREAKING: National Grid Estimates Time of Repair by Neighborhood

National Grid has advanced their Web tool and are now posting times for each neighborhoods. The times will be comforting to some and potentially depressing for others. The site (click here) allows individual home owners to get an estimation on the time until their power is restored.

For many in southern New England, their power has been out since early Sunday morning. Some on the "Estimation Map" are not expected to be restored until September 5th.

As of Tuesday night more than 130,000 households and businesses are without electricity - representing as many as 300,000 residents. Many businesses have been closed for two days and counting.
