Multiple people have reportedly been shot in an incident between Smith Street and Chalkstone Avenue in Providence on Friday afternoon.

The shooting reportedly occurred on Richter Street — just blocks from Nathanael Greene Middle School and Pleasant Valley Parkway. 

Providence police are responding to the scene as of 2 PM.
