Brown Alpert Medical School Ovarian Cancer Expert Dizon to Appear on “Smart Health” on Friday

1 in 78 women will develop ovarian cancer in their lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. Dizon, who specializes in women's cancers, has a particular focus on survivorship, particularly as it relates to sexual health after cancer.
He was appointed Director of Women's Cancers at the Lifespan Cancer Institute (LCI) in 2017 and also serves as the Director of Outpatient Hematology-Oncology Clinics and The Oncology Sexual Health First Responders Clinics at LCI and as Director of Medical Oncology at Rhode Island Hospital. He is a Professor of Medicine at Brown University.
