BREAKING NEWS: New Census Figures Out

Three of the five cities in the urban corridor showed shrinking populations: Providence grew by 2.5 percent since the 2000 Census. Warwick decreased by 3.7 percent, Cranston grew by 1.4 percent, Pawtucket decreased by 2.5 percent, and East Providence decreased by 3.4 percent.
The largest county is Providence, with a population of 626,667. Its population grew by 0.8 percent since 2000.
