Nearly a year ago, GoLocal first unveiled allegations of a Ponzi scheme run by Lincoln-native and former U.S. Marine Christopher Aubin.

 

GoLocal has told the story of more than 20 people who claim to be his victims.

In May, federal agents raided Aubin and his girlfriend, Ashley Corcoran’s, rented home, and nearly simultaneously, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed charges against the two.

 

Now, a New Twist

 

On Sunday, GoLocal reports on how a Rhode Island businessman allegedly schemed with Aubin to scam investors out of millions.

 

Aubin reportedly deceived multiple investors – at least two of whom were Marine Corps veterans who had served with him.
