Convicted Pedophile Gardner's Cranston Residence Searched by RI State Police Computer Crimes Unit

"This is an ongoing investigation whereby members of our ICAC / Computer Crimes Unit assisted the Cranston Police Department with the execution of a search warrant on 11/29/19 at 12 Old Park Avenue in Cranston RI," Major Timothy Sanzi with the Rhode Island State Police on Saturday.
"I have nothing further to discuss at this point in time," added Sanzi, following Friday's search warrant execution.

In the fall of 2018, paroled child molester Gardner set up a conflict in Providence between those who wanted him out of their neighborhood -- and those who argued his rights needed to be protected.
Gardner had been released from custody on October 11, 2018 after being sentenced to 30 years for kidnapping and raping young boys in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
He married in Cranston last fall.
In February 2019, when Gardner was still living in Providence after his release, GoLocal reported on his house being vandalized -- despite previously having been constantly monitored.
Just a day after Providence police reportedly removed near-constant surveillance of convicted pedophile Richard Gardner’s home, the property was vandalized.
