CVS Caremark Chairman and CEO Tom Ryan is retiring next year, according to WPRO 630, a GoLocalProv media partner. He will be replaced by Larry Merlo, who is currently the chief operating officer. Ryan, 58, has served as president of the Woonsocket, RI company for 16 years. His retirement will cap a 37-year career with the company.
