Devastation: Photos of RI's Coastal Damage - Homes and Beaches

 

Over the past ten days, coastal storms have caused millions of dollars in damage to Rhode Island property, and one of the areas hardest hit has been Rhode Island’s South County beaches and homes.

There has been massive beach erosion to Narragansett, Galilee, Salty Brine, Greenhill and others.

 

 

These photos, shot on Sunday, show the damage to homes along the beaches.

 

 

Erosion, in some places 5 to 6 feet, shows the power of the storms.

 

 

State officials have yet to announce any plans for restoring the beach sand erosion.
