Gas Prices at Their Highest Yet This Year

Gas prices in Rhode Island have gone up for the fourth straight week in a row, rising by 2 cents to a $3.04 for regular unleaded, according to AAA Southern New England.

Prices are at the highest level of the year—19 cents above the national average and even higher than the state average price a year ago, which was $2.66. The November 29 survey found a range of prices at local gas stations, from a low of $2.85 to a high of $3.09.
