Gas Prices Up Another Penny

The price of gas has gone up another penny in what is the fourth consecutive week of increases, according to AAA Southern New England.

A survey of January 17 prices found that one gallon of self-serve regular unleaded is an average of $3.18 per gallon. The range in prices is 24 cents, from $3.09 to $3.33. One year ago, the average price was $2.77.
